Bloody Casino Heist Attempt in Hollywood
Late in May, there was a failed heist attempt at a club in North Hollywood. Two armed men had entered the club and they were spotted by a security guard. Before the guard was able to reach for his pistol, he was shot several times.
The club also had an illegal casino setup which is what the assailants were after. But upon searching the premises they found no money and left. The police arrived on the scene and based on the evidence apprehended four suspects.
The Suspects Are Under Arrest After Having Shot a Guard
A nightclub near Universal Studios was the location of a failed heist that ended with the death of a security guard. The police investigated the scene and moved 30 people out of the club at the time of the investigation.
Their evidence led them to the rifles that were used in the heist. Further investigation led them to four suspects that have been linked to other armed robberies of illegal casino sites. The suspects in custody are Michael John Blankenship, Rudy Javier Madrid, Matthew Scot Riley, and Steven Hans Dunkel. Further investigation will prove if they’re tied to the heist.
As mentioned before the nightclub was the assailants’ target because of an underground casino. Two men masked themselves and equipped themselves with rifles to do the job. They entered from the back door and were seen by a security guard that went for his pistol.
Unfortunately, the assailants shot the man before he could shoot. They did so multiple times. No one else was hurt at the casino or club. The armed men were looking for money, but they didn’t find any so they left.
By the time the police got to the scene, the security guard had passed away. The police are still investigating and have yet to prove the involvement of the suspects in the case.
