Craps Players Crapped Out

Craps Players Crapped Out

The Strip is one of the hottest casino locations in the US, and the world. Lots of casino fans like to visit the many casinos and some of them are ready to do anything to win. That includes cheating.

A group of four friends decided to visit the Cosmopolitan in December 2021. They played a game of craps and managed to win an impressive prize of $200,000. But the casino’s officials claimed they cheated which is why they are currently in a court case against the accused players.

The Players Are Accused of Cheating at the Game

As mentioned before, some casino players are prepared to do anything to win. This means that they might resort to cheating and come up with a clever scheme to do so. But casinos employ security and cameras to weed out the cheaters from the skilled and lucky players.

Ngo, Rappoport, and Alvarado seemed like ordinary craps players. They played at the same table and managed to spread the bets to win a combined prize of $200,000. But the casino officials had another thing to say. In other words, they accused the group of friends of cheating by using a technique known as dice sliding.

This technique allows crap players to manipulate the outcome of a dice roll. This is a technique that works better on a flat surface, which the Cosmopolitan Casino offered on their craps’ tables. However, the accused and the accusers have yet to settle down the score.

In other words, the case is a developing one as the lawyers of the accused deny any sort of cheating at the game. Once proof of some kind is introduced, the case will start taking shape. It is also possible that the group of friends happened to be skilled craps players.

As things stand, they are accused of cheating at a casino game, and they will need to prove their innocence in court. The case is yet to develop and it will be seen if the accused group is made up of cheaters or skilled or lucky craps players.

Conclusion

A group of four friends decided to play craps at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. After landing a big prize they were accused of using the dice sliding technique to cheat at the game. Now, they’re in a legal battle against the casino’s officials to prove their innocence.
