The Las Vegas Sands is a brand known to many casino fans. It has been catering to them for years and a certain Mark Cuban is looking to partner with the brand to build a casino resort in Dallas, Texas.
Cuban owns the Dallas Mavericks and is also looking to build an NBA arena for them at the resort. So, the complex would include an arena as well as casino games and other kinds of attractions for visitors. But the complex is still an idea and it has a long way to go.

The complex would feature a bunch of slots and table games making it an ideal place for casino enthusiasts to visit. Basketball fans would be able to visit the arena to watch games and then come for a drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
But the complex is just an idea and it still needs lots of work. An enormous project like this one requires serious funding as well as a considerable workforce that the community can help with. Naturally, the casino will need a license to operate which is where a major hiccup appears.
All sorts of gaming facilities are illegal in Texas. This means that the complex might not happen. But there’s a chance that Texas is going to change its mind when it comes to gaming as Senator Alvarado is looking to continue the discussion regarding casinos. This discussion may bear fruit and the project the brand will have a new place to call home.
Or the project will be scrapped and the arena will be the only thing remaining from it. Time will tell if legislation will change in favor of casinos or not which will also determine the fate of Cuban’s project.
