WSOP Online Gets Fresh Winners
The World Series of Poker is arguably one of the most popular poker events in the world. It features Poker stars from across the globe and pits them against one another in an effort to land the top spot.
There are different kinds of events, and different players will get to wear the Circuit ring. The current WSOP is taking place online with land-based casinos in Nevada and New Jersey. The event has had its first winners and all of them happen to be first-timers. Maybe the top players don’t have what it takes anymore, or they’re just biding their time.
Circuit Ring Winners Are All First-Timers
Rudy Cadenas is the first winner as he managed to beat Dobrin in the first event. It was an event where players could buy in only once as it was a $300 no-limit knockout freezeout event. Cadenas has an amazing victory under his belt as Dobrin was quite the opponent. In other words, he has won the circuit ring 3 times and won the 2020 WSOP bracelet.
Garry Gates almost landed another circuit ring, after the one he had won in Aruba in 2019. The remarkable thing about him is that he used to be a poker media member and in 2019 he landed fourth place in the WSOP main event. In the current online series, he got the second spot in the $500 no-limit event and the winner for that event was Shaun Goodman.
The third event at the WSOP is the one that Michael Hauptman will remember as it’s the event that brought him his first ring. He walked away with the top prize of $15,480 and managed to beat Reisman. Joining him at the winners’ table is Krolik, who walked away with $20,117 after the fourth event was over. Krolik held his own against poker monsters such as Hendrix, Buzgon, and Somerville.
Gates is the final addition to the fresh batch of winners of the WSOP events. Similar to Hauptman, he also got his first circuit ring and a whopping prize of $45,279. He stood his own against Cheong and managed to beat him.
Conclusion
The WSOP has a fresh batch of winners from the current events. They are all first-timers and managed to beat poker stars with considerable skills. That’s why they have their circuit rings and prizes, and will be looking to up the ante and climb the ladder of success even further.
