Various Progressions Betting System
The Various Progressions betting system to use when playing craps, roulette, and baccarat.

Introduction

Betting systems have long been a topic of interest and debate among gambling enthusiasts. While some argue that these systems can’t overcome the house edge, others believe that they can at least improve the player’s chances of winning. In games like craps, roulette, and baccarat, where each bet is independent of the previous ones, betting systems can serve as a strategic roadmap for how to allocate your bets. This article will delve into various Progressions betting systems, each designed to suit different risk appetites and game dynamics. From single unit progressions to more complex strategies like the Stepladder System, we’ll cover a wide array of betting systems to help you make an informed choice.

Single Unit Progression

The simplest form of betting progression, this system involves increasing your bet by a single unit after each loss. For example, you might start with 1 chip, then move to 2 chips, then 3 chips, and so on. This system is straightforward and easy to follow, but it requires a substantial bankroll to sustain long losing streaks.

Bet the Difference Progression

This system involves betting the difference between two numbers in a sequence. For instance, you might start with 1, then move to 3, then 5, and so on. This system can be applied to bets with 2-1 or 4-1 odds and is more aggressive than the single unit progression.

4-1 odds – 1 1 2 3 5 8 12 17 23 30 38

Flat Betting

In this system, you stick to a fixed bet size regardless of whether you win or lose. This is a conservative approach that minimizes risk but also limits potential gains.

Negative Progression

This system involves increasing your bet after each loss, which can quickly escalate the amount you’re risking. It’s a high-risk, high-reward strategy that requires a large bankroll.

Specialized Progressions

These include systems designed for specific types of bets, such as double streets, single streets, and even money bets. These systems often involve complex sequences of numbers to follow, and they require a deep understanding of the game to apply effectively.

Lucas and Combo Series

These are specialized series that combine elements of other systems, like the Fibonacci sequence, to create a balanced approach to betting. They require a lower win rate to come out ahead, making them suitable for even money bets.

The ‘Lucas’ series is 2 1 2 3 4 7 11 and when combined with the Fibonacci makes what I call the ‘Combo’ series: 1 1 2 3 4 7 11 for even money bets.

With these two series, one needs only a 33% win rate to usually come out ahead 4 units.

here is a simple wagering plan that will cover almost half the 0/00 wheel quickly and easily, betting on only 5 positions.

Bet 12 units on the 2nd dozen plus only 4 units more, specifically one unit each on the #30-28-7-9.
Provides a contiguous segment from #23 clockwise up to #22. The #8 & 29 are numbers covered in the opposite sector.
CAVEAT-Although, it’s obviously a convenient bet, with such a big sector it can invite aiming dealers. For those so inclined, you can chase with a power progression (Mart.) for 6 levels. Test and see, it has potentially good applications for signature play.

Conclusion

Betting systems can add a layer of strategy to games of chance, but it’s crucial to understand their limitations. No system can guarantee a win, but the right system can help you manage your bankroll and improve your odds of walking away with a profit. Whether you’re a conservative bettor looking for steady gains or a high roller chasing big wins, there’s a Progressions betting system out there for you. Choose wisely, understand the risks, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
